At All Saints Church last week Year 1 took part in their 'Harvest Trail' and learnt all about the different types of Harvest:  ·       Harvest of the Sea - This encouraged the children to give thanks to all the fishermen and rescue workers who are out on the sea every day.  ·       Harvest of the Land - This encouraged the children to give thanks to all the fishermen and rescue workers who are out on the sea every day.  ·       Harvest of the Fruit – This taught the children about the different fruits that are picked from trees, and we even tasted some fruit juice! We also reflected on the 'fruits of our labour' and how we can challenge ourselves and grow. ·       Harvest of the Souls - encouraged the children to remember those they had lost and taught that their souls went to heaven. We had a wonderful time and learnt so much.

As some of you may be aware we have been visited by a colony of Honeybees. We reached out to the National Beekeeper Association who sent a Beekeeper out to safely remove them and take them to a new home.

Welcome to Clipstone Brook Lower School and Pre-School

On behalf of the Governors, staff and children here at Clipstone Brook Lower School, we would like to welcome you and thank you for visiting our website.

We pride ourselves on our warm and friendly atmosphere and hope that new parents and children will quickly feel part of our school family. Our school is a community school and we aim to work closely together with all of our parents and carers, with the collective aim of ensuring that children in our school receive the best outcomes possible in their learning and personal development.

We have high expectations and it is important to us that the children are happy, confident, resilient and enjoy their learning; making the most of all the opportunities we have to offer. We hope that during their time with us your children will become confident, articulate, and independent. We endeavour to work in partnership with parents to achieve the very best provision for every individual.

Our website is your first opportunity to find out lots of information about our school but, we would love you to visit us if you are thinking of choosing our school for your child’s setting, to experience the school environment and ethos for yourselves. We offer spaces to children from Nursery ( 3- 4 years) for up to 30 hours and for  Reception Year (4-5 years) up until Year 4 (8-9 years) when they move onto middle school in Year 5.

You will be welcomed by the staff. Simply contact our school office to make an appointment.

I am incredibly proud to be the Headteacher and to work with a dedicated team. The staff and I aim to make each child’s school days exciting and rewarding so that they develop a love of learning that will last all their lives. We look forward to showing you around our school.
